Name: Tiffani Bolden
Modeling Alias: Tiffani B. “The Bombshell”
Height: 5″4
Measurements: 32DD-25-35
Location: Birmingham, Alabama

BMB: How did you get started in the modeling industry?
Tiffani: Modeling was something that has always intrigued me. I remember being around 8 years old watching E! and seeing the models on the runway. I have always wanted to entertain others. So I attempted modeling first and fell in love with other things.
BMB: How did the nickname “The Bombshell” come about?
Tiffani: Age 15. I was working at CVS Pharmacy and my manager just started calling me the name. I had blonde hair and blue contacts at the time so it was a reference to Marilyn Monroe. Don’t ask me about the blue contacts, little girl lost. Ha ha!
BMB: You are a veteran in the modeling game, and most certainly one of Birmingham’s elite, why do you think you’ve remained relevant through the years?
Tiffani: I believe that primarily it’s due to the struggles that I have had to overcome within the local industry here in Birmingham. Everyone seems to love to want to compete with the next person instead of competing with herself. I have always competed with myself. If I get bored, I come up with new things to excite me and my fans. I also feel as though I was born with a different mindset than other models. I take risks. I will go to the extreme, legally and minus sex, to achieve my dreams.

BMB: You don’t just model, you act as well. How far do you plan on pursuing acting? Do you plan to make a long-term career of it?
Tiffani: Acting is my primary goal right now. I’m actually taking classes and honing my skills. I’m looking forward to an Oscar. I’m looking forward to sharing the big screen with veteran actors.
BMB: Please let the world know what all you’ve been a part of? (Magazines, music videos, movies, hosting events, etc.)
Tiffani: Magazines: Crunk Magazine, Upscale Magazine, SEA Magazine
Music Videos: Big Gen and Snipe “Shake it”..I’m not a video fan.
Movies: “Meet the Browns” “Undergrad”
2010 SEA NEXT TOP MODEL OF THE YEAR
BMB: I’ve done my research; you’ve been a free agent for a number of years. You recently signed to HD Modeling Agency, why did you remain independent for so long? What led you to finally sign with an agency?
Tiffani: Well Unfortunately I am no longer signed with HD Modeling Agency. I know what I need from an agent and that agency could not provide for me. I’m a fan of professionalism and if you will talk down on your models or business associates on-line and publicly, then you aren’t practicing professionalism. God usually shows you at the lowest point of life exactly what you need to do and where you need to go. I remained independent for so long due to the fact that I wanted to see exactly where I needed to be and who I needed to trust. Right now I am looking for an agent. I have someone in mind and will meet with them soon. God will make a way. That is how I look at life.
BMB: Explain to the aspiring models the pros and cons of signing with a modeling agency.
Tiffani: In my opinion, modeling agencies are there to provide stable support, knowledge about the business, and to represent you in a professional manner. So far I haven’t found a urban agency with those qualities. The cons of signing with a modeling agency is that you are turning control of your ability to do direct bookings to someone else. If that person has your best interest, then it will work out for the best. I think it’s best when models have agents.

BMB: How do you feel about the modeling scene here in Birmingham?
Tiffani: Honestly, I feel as though models here in Birmingham, including myself, need to realize it’s more to modeling than glamour and music videos. If you’re 5″8 125lbs, take a chance, go to NY and get with a real agency. If you’re 5″4 110lbs like me, try your hand at commercial modeling. Modeling was a way I could express myself. It irritates me to see everyone doing the same types of pictures. I think we need to learn originality and creativity.
BMB: What do you feel is your best physical asset?
Tiffani: My mind. I have so much talent than the average individual can imagine.
BMB: When it comes to a male, what are your turn-ons and turn-offs?
Tiffani: Turn On: Talent Turn Off: Lies.

BMB: What do you think is the most important issue in the world today?
Tiffani: Importantly, Reality TV/Fame. Humans are more concerned with trying to get famous quickly. You can live a stable and wealthy life without the fame.
BMB: What do you have coming up in the near future?
Tiffani: Currently I have been working with great photographers to update my portfolio. I will update my site, TIFFANIB.COM, as well. The movie I completed in November 2009, “Undergrad”, i set to come out soon. I’m also working on my acting classes and looking to relocate soon. I’m also a rapper. A great one at that. So I will continue to make music and post it at Youtube.com/tiffanithebombshell .
